The Benjelloun Complex, the training center of WAC Casablanca, was the scene of a terrifying incident when a group of angry supporters invaded the premises during a training session. Armed with sabers, they attacked players and coach Mustapha Chahid, causing chaos and fear.
Two players from the Moroccan club were injured in the attack, and parked cars were damaged before the assailants fled in a pick-up truck.
Club president Abdelilah Akram condemned the attack, alleging that the perpetrators were sent to deliberately disrupt the players rather than simply commit theft.
