As preparations for the upcoming African Cup of Nations in Morocco continue, the search for a national coach remains ongoing. Several notable names have been mentioned in connection with the role, including Hervé Renard, Giovanni Trapattoni, and Marcelo Bielsa, who is reportedly close to joining Marseille in the near future. Recently, another renowned coach, Dick Advocaat, has emerged as a potential candidate.
According to Afrik-Foot, the 66-year-old Advocaat revealed to the sports daily Voetbal that he has been approached by the FRMF (Moroccan Football Federation) through an intermediary. However, he expressed that if they are genuinely interested, they should directly contact him, as he would be willing to consider the opportunity.
