Marly Prince Heritier: Congo goalkeeper joins FC Besa Peja in Kosovo switch

Congo goalkeeper Marly Prince Heritier has joined FC Besa Peja from FC Vushtrria on a free transfer. The 27-year-old completed the move on 14 August 2026 and has agreed a contract running until 30 June 2027.

Heritier moves to Besa Peja after a spell with Vushtrria, where he had played since January 2025. His departure brings an end to his latest period at the Kosovo club, having previously represented them earlier in his career.

The goalkeeper began his latest spell at Vushtrria after leaving Feronikeli 74, also on a free transfer. He had joined Feronikeli 74 from KF Vllaznia in July 2024, before returning to Vushtrria six months later.

Heritier’s career in Kosovo has included several changes of club without a transfer fee. Before his time with Vllaznia and Feronikeli 74, he played for KF Trepca 89, joining them from Vushtrria in August 2020. He later returned to Vushtrria in January 2023, again completing the move without a fee.

The new Besa Peja goalkeeper first joined Vushtrria in January 2020. His move to the Peja-based club therefore represents another step in a career spent largely within Kosovo’s domestic football structure.

Heritier is listed as a goalkeeper and has Congo among his nationalities. He joins Besa Peja as the club’s latest addition ahead of the 2026-27 season, with his new agreement set to keep him at the club for the remainder of that campaign and into the following summer.

The transfer continues a sequence of free moves for Heritier, whose previous switches between Vushtrria, Feronikeli 74, Vllaznia and Trepca 89 were all completed without a reported fee. His latest change of club was finalised when he left Vushtrria for FC Besa Peja.

Heritier has now officially become an FC Besa Peja player on a free transfer, with his contract lasting until 30 June 2027.
