Mario Balotelli set to move to America for final career chapter
Italian-Ghanaian striker Mario Balotelli has decided it’s time for something new.
Balotelli will soon take his talents to Major League Soccer, marking a major shift in a career full of ups, downs, and unforgettable moments.
Now 34, Balotelli is ready to turn the page. After stints at top clubs like Inter Milan, Manchester City, and Liverpool, his recent run with Genoa didn’t go as planned. Speaking candidly, he admitted it was the wrong club choice but thanked fans for sticking with him through it all.
“I could have done more, but I’m happy. I thank the fans who love me, but I made the wrong choice for the type of club. It’s unlikely that I will play again in Italy or Europe,” he said.
Asked about his next step, he gave a clear answer: “Yes, America. I will play two or three years before I stop.”
With his contract expiring this summer, Balotelli is free to sign with an MLS side, bringing his signature flair and unpredictability to a new stage.
