Every year, RFI and France 24 jointly award the Marc-Vivien Foé Prize for the best African player in the French Championship. The prize was claimed in 2013 by Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. The 2014 edition is set to take place next Monday, with a jury comprised of specialized journalists from various French and African media determining the winner.
Ten players have been nominated for the 2014 Marc-Vivien Foé Prize, all vying to succeed Aubameyang. The winner will be selected based on their performance up to March 31, 2014.
