Liverpool are being linked with a move for Crystal Palace centre-back Marc Guéhi, with the probability of a transfer currently rated at 75% according to data from Transfermarkt.

The 25-year-old defender, valued at €50.00m, is reported to be on Liverpool’s radar as they assess options to strengthen the heart of their defence. While no agreement is in place and no contractual details have been confirmed, Guéhi’s rising status in the Premier League has prompted mounting speculation over a possible switch from Selhurst Park to Anfield.

Guéhi, born in Abidjan on 13 July 2000, represents England and also holds ties to Côte d’Ivoire, underlining his dual-nationality background. A right-footed centre-back standing at 1.82m, he has become a key figure for Crystal Palace since joining from Chelsea, where he came through the youth ranks before progressing from Chelsea Youth to the U18s, U21s and then the first team.

The defender’s market value has climbed steadily in recent seasons, rising from €1.50m during his time with Chelsea U21s to its current €50.00m rating at Palace. That trajectory, coupled with consistent Premier League performances, has made him one of the more highly regarded centre-backs outside the traditional top six.

There is also the possibility that, with no public information on his current contract length at Palace, Guéhi’s situation could evolve towards free-agent territory in the future, a factor that may influence how both clubs and player approach any negotiations.

Having gained senior experience on loan at Swansea City in the Championship before establishing himself in the top flight with Palace, a move to Liverpool would represent the next step in a career built on steady progression. Should the transfer materialise, it could mark a decisive moment in Guéhi’s development and further enhance his reputation at the highest level of the game.
