Spain defender, Marc Cucurella is backing Chelsea teammate Nicolas Jackson to end his poor run in front of goal.
Jackson has been in poor form in the last few months, failing to find the back of the net in the last nine matches for the Blues.
Speaking on the form of the Senegalese, Cucurella offered support for his Chelsea teammate.
“For all strikers, it is important to score and Nico gives a lot to the team. He presses very well, he does good movements for other players, it’s all part of football.
“Everyone needs to have a tough moment during the season, but the important thing is we are with him. He is playing a lot so, for sure, if he continues training like this he can score goals in the games,” Marc Cucurella said.
This season, Nicolas Jackson has scored nine goals and provided five assists.
He has often faced criticism for being wasteful in front of goal.
