Marat Tarek: Russia-Cameroon striker joins Kolkheti Poti on free transfer from PWD SC
Russia-Cameroon forward Marat Tarek has joined Georgian side Kolkheti Poti on a free transfer from PWD SC. The 22-year-old centre-forward has signed a deal until 31 December 2026 with the Erovnuli Liga 2 club.
Tarek arrives in Poti after a short spell with Bangladeshi outfit PWD SC, continuing a busy 18 months in which he has moved across several countries. Despite the club switch, his market value is currently assessed at around 50,000.
Standing at 1.94m and predominantly right-footed, Tarek is expected to add a physical presence to Kolkhetis attack. He enjoyed one of his most productive recent runs in the 2025 Durand Cup, scoring two goals in three appearances and playing the majority of available minutes.
Before his move to Bangladesh, Tarek had spells with KF Shiroka and Rimal Al-Sahra, having also featured for clubs including Real Kashmir, FC Ulaanbaatar and FK Metallist earlier in his senior career. His journey began in Russia with FC Sochi II and Dinamo Vladivostok after coming through the ranks at KSShOR.
Born in Vladivostok in August 2003 and eligible for both Russia and Cameroon, Tarek has built a reputation for adapting quickly to new leagues, with experience now spanning Eastern Europe and Asia.
Tareks switch from PWD SC to Kolkheti Poti on a free transfer is registered for the 2026-27 season, tying him to the Georgian club until the end of the calendar year.
