Mansoura have signed Islam Gamal on a free transfer as they prepare for a second successive season in the Professional League.

The club confirmed the arrival of the experienced defender on Sunday, 2 August 2026, after he left Tanta at the end of last season.

He has also played for Wadi Degla and Tanta.

The move to Mansoura gives the club another experienced addition ahead of the new Professional League campaign. Gamal joins after becoming a free agent following his departure from Tanta, with Mansoura continuing to strengthen their squad during the current transfer window.

Mansoura will compete in the Professional League for the second season in a row. The club will be managed next season by Hossam Abdel Aal, who will oversee the team as it prepares for another campaign in the competition.

The signing of Gamal is part of a wider recruitment drive by Mansoura. During the current transfer period, the club have also completed deals for Waleed Attia, Ahmed Ayman, Mahmoud Mosad, Marwan El Naggar, El Sayed Hassan Johnson, Mohamed Hamada, Sous and goalkeeper Mahmoud Abdel Monsef.
