Manisa FK have tabled a formal offer for AC Ajaccio striker Ben Hamed Touré as the Turkish club looks to strengthen its attack ahead of the new campaign.
Currently sitting 15th in the Turkish Premier League, Manisa FK are eager to make a strong start to the first half of the season in pursuit of promotion to the country’s top tier.
The club has identified the Ivorian forward as a key target to boost its frontline.
Manisa FK have submitted an opening bid of €1 million to initiate talks with Ajaccio.
Early discussions between the two sides are said to be encouraging, with the French Ligue 2 outfit not ruling out a sale.
However, Ajaccio are reportedly unwilling to part with the player at a cut-price fee.
Touré, who joined Ajaccio in 2021 from FC Limane Yacouba Sylla Football Club de Sassandra (LYS Sassandra) in his native Ivory Coast, remains under contract with the Corsican side until 30 June 2026.
His steady performances in Ligue 2 – featuring in 20 matches and scoring three goals last season – have attracted interest from several European clubs.
The 21-year-old’s technical ability, physical presence, and potential for further development have made him an appealing prospect for Manisa FK’s recruitment team.
While his current market valuation is listed at €400,000 on Transfermarkt, the Turkish side’s initial proposal significantly exceeds that figure, reflecting both the competition for his signature and the value they place on securing his services.
For Ajaccio, the decision may come down to balancing the player’s future contributions against the financial benefit of an immediate transfer.
Touré has been steadily establishing himself within the squad, and his departure would require the club to seek a replacement in a market where proven young forwards are in high demand.
Manisa FK, meanwhile, see Touré as a forward who can adapt quickly to the physical demands of Turkish football while providing a clinical edge in front of goal.
With negotiations ongoing, the coming days will determine whether the Ivorian striker will make the switch from France’s second division to Turkey’s competitive league environment.
If an agreement is reached, Touré would become one of Manisa FK’s most notable summer signings – a statement of intent from a club determined to change its fortunes in the upcoming season.
