In a resolution to his conflict with coach David Moyes, Wilfried Zaha has departed Manchester United on loan for the remainder of the season, joining Cardiff City. The Ivorian-origin player, who has featured in only two matches this season, becomes Cardiff’s sixth signing.
Zaha, an English striker, was initially transferred from Crystal Palace to Manchester United before being loaned back to his former club. At 18 years old, he joins Cardiff alongside Brazilian defender Fabio, Trinidad and Tobago striker Kenwyne Jones, and the Norwegian trio of Magnus Wolff Eikrem, Mats Moller Daehli, and Jo Inge Berget.
