Since Tuesday, the name of David Moyes has only been mentioned in the past tense at Manchester United. Freshly ousted from his position as coach of the Red Devils, Sir Alex Ferguson’s successor is reported to have been unhappy with the conduct of the club’s management.
According to the Mirror, Moyes is described as “furious and disgusted” by the club’s actions, particularly singling out vice-president Ed Woodward. The abrupt dismissal came as a shock to Moyes, who was reportedly actively engaged in planning for the next season. He was said to be working on four potential signings: Southampton full-back Luke Shaw, Toni Kroos from Bayern Munich, as well as young talents Wilfried Zaha and Nick Powell, both of whom are currently on loan at Cardiff and Wigan respectively. Moyes’s sudden departure likely came as a bombshell to the Scotsman.
