English international of Ghanaian descent Kobbie Mainoo is unlikely to continue his trade with Manchester United heading to next season.
The 20-year-old, who has been with the Red Devils since the age of six, has yet to agree on a new contract, with his current deal expiring in two years.
Mainoo’s future at Manchester United remains highly uncertain and could depart the club in the summer.
Meanwhile, Manchester United are said to be considering cashing in on the midfielder for a fee reportedly around £70 million.
Mainoo has struggled to find rhythm under Ruben Amorim, who has utilized him in various roles this season.
The 19-year-old English-Ghanaian star has been deployed as a defensive midfielder, a number 10, and to larger extent a makeshift striker in a game against Crystal Palace earlier this year.
He made 25 appearances for Manchester United this season, scoring one goals and serving an assists across competitions.
Since making his debut for England in March 2024, the midfielder has racked up 10 appearances for the England national team.
