Manchester United rescue late draw at Fulham but remain without a win in three Premier League games

Manchester United came from behind to draw 1-1 at Fulham on Sunday, avoiding defeat with a late equaliser but extending their run without a win to three Premier League matches.

The visitors appeared set to suffer another disappointing result after Lisandro Martinez put through his own net in the 63rd minute to give Fulham the lead.

United struggled to find a response as the match moved towards its conclusion, with Fulham seemingly on course to claim their first win of the campaign.

However, Matheus Cunha equalised in the 89th minute to earn Manchester United a point and deny the home side victory at the decisive stage of the contest.

The result continues a difficult sequence for United, who have now failed to win in their past three league fixtures. They lost 1-0 to Manchester City before going down 3-2 against Brighton in the previous two rounds.

Manchester United have five points and sit 12th in the table. Fulham move on to two points and remain second from bottom.
