Jurgen Klopp Rules Out Manchester United Job
In the wake of David Moyes’s dismissal from Manchester United, speculation about who would take over the role has been rife. Jurgen Klopp, one of the favorites to succeed Moyes, has firmly ruled himself out of the running. The Borussia Dortmund manager, who extended his contract with the German club until October 2018, made it clear that he has no intention of leaving Dortmund.
“Man Utd is a great club and I am close to their wonderful supporters. But I will not break my commitment to Borussia Dortmund and the people here,” Klopp told The Guardian.
This statement confirms that Klopp, who has enjoyed significant success with Dortmund, is committed to staying with his current team and will not entertain any offers from Manchester United, despite the club’s stature and appeal.
