English giants Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing German forward of Nigerian descent, Karim Adeyemi.

The Red Devils have been monitoring the Borussia Dortmund attacker for some time and are now exploring concrete options to secure his signature.

Adeyemi remains under contract with Dortmund until 2027, with the club hoping to extend his deal through to 2030.

Manchester United’s growing interest is said to be influenced by their scouting director, Christopher Vivell, who worked closely with the 23-year-old during their time together at Red Bull Salzburg between 2018 and 2022.

In the meantime, Dortmund have opened talks over a long-term contract extension.

However, Adeyemi’s representatives, led by Jorge Mendes, are pushing for a release clause to be included in any new agreement.

That request has sparked internal debate within the club, as Dortmund have rarely accepted such clauses in recent years, making exceptions only in select cases such as Erling Haaland, Serhou Guirassy, and the verbal understanding with Jadon Sancho.
