Manchester United have set their sights on Japanese-Ghanaian shot stopper, Zion Suzuki as the summer transfer window approaches.
The Premier League giants, who are keen on strengthening their goalkeeping department this summer has been a long-term admirers of the enterprising goalkeeper.
The club has been observing Suzuki since his time in the Japanese league, considering him as a backup for Onana.
Cameroonian goalkeeper Andre Onana has underperformed under Ruben Amorim, committing nine errors, the highest among Premier League goalkeepers this season.
However, the Red Devils are said to have renewed their interest on Parma Calcio shot stopper following his swashbuckling performance in the Serie A.
Manchester United scouts highly rate Suzuki’s skills and recommend the club secure his services amid Onana’s poor showing in recent times.
It is noted that the “Red Devils” have been observing this goalkeeper since his performances in the Japanese league, considering him as a backup for Onana.
This season, the 22-year-old goalkeeper has played 30 matches in Serie A, conceding 46 goals.
