Nigeria international Wilfried Ndidi has emerged as a transfer target for Premier League clubs, Manchester United and Everton.
The Premier League clubs are keen on bolstering their squad for the new campaign, and Ndidi, who currently plies his trade for relegated Leicester City has popped up on their radar.
Despite the Foxes suffering relegation, Ndidi showcased glimpse of good performance throughout the league campaign.
The acquisition of Ndidi won’t require a hefty transfer fee despite recently extending his contract with the Foxes.
Following Leicester’s relegation from the Premier League, a £9 million release clause in the 28-year-old midfielder’s contract was triggered—a sum well within reach for both clubs.
Meanwhile, both Manchester United and Everton will face competition from Saudi clubs, who are also keen on securing his services.
Last season, Ndidi played 30 matches for Leicester, scoring one goal and providing five assists.
