The upcoming Manchester derby on the 5th day of the Premier League has caught the attention of Usain Bolt, a devoted Manchester United fan. Currently in London for the signing of his autobiography and having postponed his retirement, the eight-time world champion coincidentally crossed paths with Manchester City striker Sergio Agüero in an event organized by their common equipment manufacturer, Puma.
Initially intended to assist Agüero in improving his top speed, the encounter took a playful turn. Agüero revealed, “Usain was very bad at the beginning, but after a while I realized he was just trying to wear me out.”
Usain Bolt, known as the fastest man in the world, acknowledges his mischievous intent, stating, “Sergio has caused a lot of problems for the United team in the past years, and so I decided to meet him to see if I couldn’t tire him out a little before the match on Sunday.” Bolt expresses admiration for Agüero’s fitness and acknowledges the need for United’s defense to closely control him during the game. Despite his playful banter, Bolt expresses confidence that Manchester United will secure the victory with three points in the derby.
