Bacary Sagna Explains Move from Arsenal to Manchester City
French international Bacary Sagna officially completed his transfer from Arsenal to Manchester City last June, marking a new chapter in his Premier League career.
Speaking about the move, the former Arsenal right-back said he sought to “boost his career” by embracing fresh challenges and pushing himself further.
Since leaving Ligue 1’s Auxerre in 2009, Sagna made over 200 appearances for Arsenal, becoming a key figure for the Gunners. He also boasts 47 caps for the French national team.
At Manchester City, Sagna continues to wear the number 3 shirt, the same number he sported during his time in North London, as he looks to make an impact with the Citizens.
