OFFICIAL: JASON DENAYER JOINS GALATASARAY ON LOAN FROM MANCHESTER CITY
Belgian defender Jason Denayer has officially joined Galatasaray on a one-year loan deal from Manchester City, the English club confirmed Monday evening.
The 20-year-old, considered one of Belgium’s most promising young defenders, was at the center of a transfer tug-of-war between Galatasaray and Olympique de Marseille. After visiting both clubs’ facilities last week, Denayer ultimately opted for the Turkish champions, drawn by the opportunity to defend their Super Lig title and compete in the Champions League.
Despite stiff competition at Manchester City, the club still sees Denayer as a key part of its future and will monitor his progress closely during this loan spell.
