Premier League outfit Manchester City has expressed interest in signing Mali youngster Mahamadou Sangaré ahead of the summer transfer window.
The 18-year-old forward has been performed tremendously well for the youth team of Paris Saint Germain, courting attention from several top clubs.
Sangaré played a pivotal role in the UEFA Youth League this season, netting an impressive eight goals in just six games and registering two assists across the period.
Yet to make his first senior appearance, the prolific goalscorer has racked up 33 goals in 35 appearances for PSG U19 team.
With his contract set to expire in June, Sangare has emerged as a top transfer target for several teams including Manchester City. He is also garnering a lot of interest from the Bundesliga heading to the summer window.
Manchester City want to sign Sangaré before loaning him out to Ligue 2 side Troyes, who are also part of the City Group. At the moment, the deal is not advanced.
Sangare has already featured for the France youth national team but is still eligible to play for Mali at the international level.
