Manchester City have set their sights on Eintracht Frankfurt’s attacking sensation, Omar Marmoush, as they push to secure the 25-year-old Egyptian’s signature, according to Foot Mercato.
The winger has been in sensational form this season, registering 18 goals and 12 assists across all competitions, with Frankfurt currently sitting third in the Bundesliga. Marmoush’s performances have attracted attention from multiple Premier League giants, including Arsenal, Tottenham, and Liverpool.
However, it’s Manchester City who have made the first move in the race to sign the prolific forward. Foot Mercato reports that Pep Guardiola’s side has already sent a formal contract proposal to Marmoush, with plans to complete the transfer next summer.
The Egypt international is said to be eager for a Premier League move and has already been in discussions with City officials, who have reportedly excited him about the prospect of a move to the Etihad Stadium.
Marmoush remains under contract at Frankfurt until 2027, but his future in Germany looks increasingly uncertain as he contemplates a new chapter in England.
