Premier League outfit Manchester City are closing in on signing Egyptian international Omar Marmoush.
The 25-year-old has been outstanding for Eintracht Frankfurt in the ongoing campaign, scoring 13 goals and providing 8 assists in the German Bundesliga.
His remarkable performance has caught the attention of the Premier League giants, who are desperate to augment their squad following a dip in form in the current season.
Marmoush is the second top scorer in the Bundesliga this season behind Harry Kane. He has been the main man for Frankfurt and it is the club is resisting the idea of his departure this window.
Manchester City believes Marmoush can quickly adapt to the Premier League thanks to his speed and ability to play in several attacking position.
Meanwhile, his current contract with Frankfurt is expected to elapse in the summer of 2027.
