Since his January 2015 move from Swansea to Manchester City, striker Wilfried Bony has struggled to make a consistent impact at the Etihad Stadium. With Sergio Aguero firmly established as the club’s first-choice forward, Bony has found game time limited, scoring just two goals in 19 appearances across all competitions.

At Swansea, I only missed a handful of games, most of the time because of a red card. Here, I was unlucky, but I hope that is over.”
