While awaiting the match, José Mourinho, the manager of the Blues, takes aim at his opponent by highlighting several favorable refereeing decisions for Manchester City in recent weeks.
“They seem to have luck on their side. Against Liverpool, there was Sterling’s goal and Suarez’s penalty. Against Newcastle, the disputed goal was allowed. Against Tottenham, there was Dawson’s goal, a penalty, and a red card. It seems they’re getting everything,” he remarked in comments reported by the Daily Telegraph.
Now Mourinho can only hope that luck doesn’t favor Manchester City once again on Monday evening.
