South African giants Mamelodi Sundowns have turned down an offer from Cypriot club, Aris Limassol for Brazilian winger Thapelo Maseko.

The Cypriot club are keen on strengthening the squad for the 2025/26 football campaign, and the 21-year-old, who enjoyed an amazing performance last term has emerged as a priority target.

Aris Limassol wanted to secure the winger on a season-long loan with an option to buy at the end of the upcoming season. However, Sundowns have turned down Aris Limassol offer while demanding for the full transfer for the player this summer.

The Cypriot side has currently paused negotiations to weigh their next move and consider all factors.

Thapelo Maseko joined Sundowns in 2023 from SuperSport United and has since made 38 appearances for the Brazilian, scoring 3 goals and providing 1 assist.
