South African giants Mamelodi Sundowns have officially parted ways with South African midfielder Neo Maema, bringing an end to a remarkable four-year spell at the club.
The 29-year-old joined the Brazilians from fellow South African club Royal AM in 2021 and established himself as a key member of the team.
During his four-year spell at the club, the experienced midfielder made 120 appearances for the club, scoring 13 goals and providing 14 assists.
Neoma contributed significantly for Sundowns, winning a total of seven titles including four Premier League titles.
Having parted ways with the club, the midfielder is expected to find himself a new club for the 2025/26 football campaign.
Neoma has had stint with Bloemfontein Celtic FC, Royal AM and Mamelodi Sundowns in his entire career and is now set to join his fourth club.
The midfielder has made only three appearances for the South African national team, scoring two goals in the process.
