Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Jayden Adams has shifted his attention to his outfit upcoming CAF Champions League clash against Al Ahly this weekend.
In a highly competitive clash slated for Saturday, the South Africa powerhouse will play host to the Egyptian giants in the first leg semifinals clash. Sundowns will travel to Egypt for the return fixture on April 25 to be staged in Cairo.
The highly-rated midfielder in an interview disclosed his outfit has moved on from the Cup competition defeat to Kaizer Chiefs as they gear up for the Al Ahly showdown.
“The mood is good, the game against Chiefs is behind us, we’re moving on to the next one, so I think all the players are focused on Al Ahly, and we’re preparing well.
I think this is the most important game of my career, I’m very excited, especially because it’s a CAF game, the club wants to win trophies, wants to get another star, so we’re going to work on that,” said Adams.
The 23-year-old midfielder has made 39 appearances for Sundowns this season, scoring six goals and providing three assists across competitions.
