South African giants Mamelodi Sundowns have confirmed the departure of midfielder Lebohang Maboe, bringing an end to his seven-year spell at the club.
The 30-year-old joined the Masandawana outfit in 2018 and established himself as a key cog o the team, marking 183 appearances across competitions for the club.
During his seven-year spell at the club, the South African midfielder won a remarkable 12 trophies with Mamelodi Sundowns.

Mamelodi Sundowns have shifted their attention on restructuring their squad for the new season following the FIFA Club World Cup participation.
As was the case in the previous transfer windows, Sundowns are expected to be active as they hope to get players who can help them achieve their season targets.
Last season, they only managed to defend the PSL but fell short in the Nedbank Cup – they were eliminated in the semi-final by the eventual champions, Kaizer Chiefs, and in the CAF Champions League.
Their hope of winning a second continental star was dashed by Pyramids FC of Egypt, who won their first.
