Mamadou Fall: Kocaelispor eye move for Senegal defender at OFK Beograd

Mamadou Fall, the Senegalese centre-back currently at OFK Beograd, is being linked with a move to Turkish Super Lig side Kocaelispor as the Serbian season gets under way.

The 21-year-old defender, who joined OFK Beograd from Red Star Belgrade last summer, is under contract in Belgrade until 30 June 2028, meaning any deal would require the Turkish club to negotiate a transfer fee. Fall’s current market valuation stands at around €500,000, a figure likely to frame early discussions over his future.

Fall has featured in the opening stages of the 2026–27 Super Liga Srbije campaign, making one appearance so far after being named in the starting XI for half of OFK’s league fixtures and playing a quarter of the available minutes. He picked up a yellow card in that outing but is viewed as part of the club’s defensive options for the new season.

Born in Saint-Louis, Fall moved to Serbia in 2023 to join Red Star’s under-19 side and went on to win the Serbia U19 Championship in 2024–25 before stepping up to the senior set-up and then moving across Belgrade on a free transfer to OFK in July 2025. His rapid progression through Serbian football and early exposure to top-flight action have drawn interest from abroad, with Kocaelispor now assessing whether to bring him into the Super Lig.

For now, Fall remains tied to a long-term deal at OFK Beograd, giving the Serbian club a strong position should Kocaelispor choose to formalise their interest.
