Malian midfielder Abdoulaye Sissako has emerged as a transfer target for Belgian giants Club Bruges following an impressive campaign with KV Kortrijk in the Jupiler Pro League.

The 26-year-old, who is under contract with Kortrijk until June 2027, has been one of the club’s standout performers this season.

His consistency in midfield has drawn interest from several European clubs, with Bruges reportedly making initial contact regarding a potential summer transfer.

Rising Stock in European Football

Sissako, born in Clichy, France, has played a key role for Kortrijk, featuring in 25 matches and accumulating 1,550 minutes on the pitch.

He has also contributed two goals and one assist, further enhancing his reputation as a reliable defensive midfielder.

With his performances gaining recognition, the Malian international is now on the radar of multiple clubs beyond Belgium. English Championship side Leeds United and French Ligue 1 outfit Le Havre have also expressed interest in securing his services.

Transfer Valuation and Potential Move

According to Transfermarkt, Sissako is currently valued at €700,000, a figure that could make him an attractive signing for clubs looking to bolster their midfield options.

As the summer transfer window approaches, the competition for the Malian’s signature is expected to intensify, with Club Bruges leading the race to bring him in.
