Malian-Ivorian midfielder Antoine Foungognan Sekongo on the radar of Besiktas and Samsunspor

Mali international of Ivory Coast descent Antoine Foungognan Sekongo has emerged as a top transfer for Besiktas and Samsunspor as the January transfer window approaches.

Sekongo, who plies his trade for French Ligue 2 outfit USL Dunkerque has been a subject of interest for several clubs in Europe following his swashbuckling performance for the club this season.

Performing well and having scored 4 goals and provided 2 assists in 16 matches across all competitions, Sekongo has popped on the radar of Turkish Super Lig duo of Besiktas and Samsunspor, who are ready to add him to their ranks.

At 21, the Malian is among the best players in his position in Ligue 2 and is poised to take the next step in his professional career.

Meanwhile, fellow French outfit AJ Auxerre have expressed in the talented midfielder and are ready to battle it out with Besiktas and Samsunspor for his services.

The Malian younger is currently under contract with USL Dunkerque until June 30, 2026.
