Mali international Abdoulaye Doucouré will leave Premier League club, Everton at the end of the season.
Doucouré’s contract with the Toffees expires at the end of the season. However, both parties have reportedly agreed not to exercise the contract extension option in his deal.
The 32-year-old midfielder will therefore become a free agent at the expiration of his contract in June 2025.
Doucouré, a regular starter at Everton over the course of the past five seasons, will not be short of interest in the summer, with unnamed Premier League clubs registering interest in the experienced midfielder.
The midfield enforcer is also the subject of interest from clubs in the Middle East. Meanwhile, clubs from the UAE and Saudi Arabia are in the running.
This season, he has made 28 appearances for Evertion, scoring three goals and providing an assist across competitions.
He joined Everton in 2020 and established himself as a key cog to the team. After almost five-year spell, the experienced midfielder could depart the Goddison Park.
Doucouré has made two appearances for the Mali national team since making his debut in 2022.
