Mali to Face Guinea in Friendly Ahead of Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers
Mali will kick off their preparations for the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers with a friendly match against Guinea Conakry on May 25th. While Guinea has already announced their squad for the upcoming event, Mali is still finalizing their list of players. However, it has been confirmed that Ousmane Coulibaly, the defender from Stade Brestois, will be part of the team for these friendlies.
The Mali national team, led by coach Henryk Kasperczak, will play a series of three friendly matches at the end of May. After facing Guinea Conakry in Colombes, Hauts-de-Seine, on May 25th, they will take on Gabon in the same location on May 28th. The team will then travel to Osijek, Croatia, to face the host country on May 31st, completing their preparation for the crucial AFCON qualifiers.
These friendlies are an important opportunity for Mali to fine-tune their squad and build chemistry ahead of the upcoming qualifiers, with hopes of securing a spot in the prestigious African tournament.
