Stade Malien edged ahead in the Malian league race after securing a 2-1 victory over AS Police on Friday. Their closest rivals, CO Bamako, were held to a 2-2 draw against the Salif Keïta Centre.
With just one matchday remaining, Stade Malien now lead the championship and only a loss in the final round could stop them from claiming the title.
