Mali call up Sekou Koita and Mamadou Doumbia for CAN 2027 qualifiers

Mali have replaced El Bilal Toure and Moussa Sylla in their squad for the upcoming international fixtures, with Sekou Koita and Mamadou Doumbia added to Anthony Da Silva’s group.

Schalke 04 forward Moussa Sylla will remain in Europe for family reasons, while Parma FC player El Bilal Toure has withdrawn from the squad for personal reasons.

Koita and Doumbia join the Mali team just days before the start of their 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign. The Aigles are due to face Cape Verde on 25 September before travelling to Liberia on 29 September.
