Mali begin Tanger preparations for Morocco friendly

Mali have started preparations in Tanger for their international friendly against Morocco on Sunday, 4 October 2026.

The Eagles held their first training session after arriving in the Moroccan city, where they will continue their work ahead of the fixture.

The match was arranged after Morocco’s original friendly against Ghana was cancelled. Mali were selected to replace the Black Stars and will now face the Atlas Lions during the international window.

Antony da Silva’s side are continuing their preparations with the aim of being ready for the meeting with Morocco in Tanger.
