Makan Aiko: Free agent French-Ivorian winger linked with Motor Lublin move in Ekstraklasa rumour

France and Cote d’Ivoire winger Makan Aiko, currently without a club after leaving CD Tondela, has been linked with a move to Polish top-flight side Motor Lublin.

Aiko, 25, would be available on a free transfer following his departure from Portuguese club Tondela on 1 July 2026, opening the door for Motor Lublin to strengthen their attack without a transfer fee.

The right-footed left winger saw his market value rise to 900,000 during the second half of last season at Tondela, underlining his growing profile ahead of a potential switch to the Ekstraklasa.

Born in Paris and standing at 1.80m, Aiko represents both France and Cote d’Ivoire at nationality level and is primarily deployed on the left side of the attack, offering pace and width from the flank.

Before his short spell in Portugal, he played for Fortuna Sittard in the Netherlands, having moved there in the summer of 2024 from French side Le Mans FC, where his performances in the French system first drew attention.

His market value has fluctuated across recent seasons, rising from 300,000 at Le Mans in mid-2024 to peaks of 750,000 and 800,000 at Fortuna Sittard and Tondela respectively, before reaching its current 900,000 mark in May 2026.

Discussions over a move to Motor Lublin remain at rumour stage, with no agreement announced and the player still officially a free agent.
