Authorities in the United States have begun early preparations to manage the expected large-scale movement of fans during the 2026 FIFA World Cup, particularly for high-demand fixtures scheduled at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.

One of the most anticipated group-stage matches is the showdown between Morocco national football team and Brazil national football team, which is already generating significant global interest.

Reduced Transport Costs for Fans

New York Governor Kathy Hochul has announced special measures aimed at improving accessibility for fans travelling to World Cup matches.

The plan includes reducing round-trip bus ticket prices from $80 to $20, a move designed to make stadium access more affordable for supporters.

She explained that the initiative aims to ensure that “access to the World Cup should be as accessible as possible,” while also noting that 20 percent of tickets will be reserved for New York State residents.

Large-Scale Transport Operations Planned

Officials revealed that the dedicated bus services will be capable of transporting between 10,000 and 20,000 fans per match, highlighting the expected massive turnout for key fixtures.

In addition, New Jersey authorities are also working on reducing train fares to ease congestion and improve access to MetLife Stadium throughout the tournament.

High Anticipation for Morocco vs Brazil Clash

The Morocco vs Brazil encounter is already being described as one of the standout matches of the group stage, not only due to its sporting significance but also because of Morocco’s growing global fanbase.

Following the impressive run of the Morocco national football team at the 2022 FIFA World Cup, interest in the Atlas Lions has surged dramatically, particularly among fans in the United States.

As a result, the fixture is expected to draw one of the largest crowds of the early tournament, with organizers already taking steps to ensure smooth transportation and crowd management.
