Abdul Majeed Waris Set to Join Trabzonspor After Lille Talks Collapse
Abdul Majeed Waris will not be joining Lille this summer, ending speculation over the Ghanaian striker’s future. Despite interest from the French club, negotiations faltered as Lille were unable to meet the demands set by Spartak Moscow, Waris’s current club.
Instead, Waris is set to showcase his goal-scoring talents in the Turkish Süper Lig with Trabzonspor. Following a successful medical examination, Waris is expected to sign a three-year contract with the club.

They also secured Paraguayan striker Oscar Cardozo earlier in the window.
