Mahmoud Abdel Moneim Kahraba’s arrival at Al Qadisiyah has been nothing short of a celebration.
The Egyptian forward was greeted warmly in Turkey where the Kuwaiti club is holding its pre-season camp.
Al Qadisiyah shared a video showing Kahraba’s journey from the airport to the team bus, with teammates cheering him on both during the ride and later on the pitch. The reception highlighted the excitement around the 31-year-old, who has become one of Egypt’s most experienced footballers.
Kahraba signed a one-season contract with the Kuwaiti side, running until June 30, 2026, with a deal worth $1 million plus additional bonuses. He joined after a short six-month spell at Libyan club Al Ittihad, following his time at Egyptian giants Al Ahly.
His career has spanned multiple leagues including Egypt, Switzerland, Saudi Arabia, Portugal, Turkey, Libya and now Kuwait. Kahraba has played for clubs such as Enppi, Zamalek, Lucerne, Grasshoppers, Al Ittihad Jeddah, Hatay, Desportivo Aves and Al Ahly.
He has lifted 22 trophies, including the Egyptian Premier League and the 2024-25 Super Cup, and was part of Egypt’s squad at the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
