Maher Kanzari, the coach of Esperance de Tunis, has received a two-match suspension and a fine of 1000 dinars as a result of his actions in the derby against Etoile du Sahel two weeks ago. This penalty was revised downwards from the initial announcement after the incident, which Kanzari later denied.
The Tunisian Football League also imposed sanctions on other individuals involved in the incident. Three officials, namely Hassan Mohamed from Grombalia Sport, Fakher Tlili from AS Kasserine, and Mohamed Mhri from AS Marsa, each received a four-match suspension and a fine of a thousand dinars. Additionally, the manager of Etoile Olympique de Sidi Bouzid was sanctioned with a four-match suspension and a fine of 750 dinars.
Maher Kanzari offered an apology in response to the disciplinary actions taken against him.
