Mahamadou Diarra has officially returned to Fulham after his previous stint from February 2012 to June 2013. The Premier League’s bottom-placed team, Fulham, had hesitated to renew his contract due to concerns about his knee problem.
Former Fulham manager Martin Jol had expressed doubts about Diarra’s ability to return to his previous form at Lyon, stating that various scenarios were being considered, such as paying him per match. However, the final decision depended on approval from the medical staff regarding the condition of his knee.
Despite these concerns, Fulham has decided to bring Diarra back until the end of the season. However, his contract terms stipulate that he will be paid based on the number of matches he plays.
