Botola champions Maghreb Fez have completed the signing of Moroccan midfielder Amine El Farissi from French club Boulogne, marking the club’s first acquisition of the summer transfer window.

The 25-year-old has signed a contract running until June 2029 after Maghreb Fez reached an agreement with the French side for his permanent transfer.

The move is the first step in the club’s plans to strengthen its squad ahead of a season in which it will defend its Moroccan league title while competing in the CAF Champions League.

Strong campaign in France earns move home

El Farissi joins Maghreb Fez after an impressive season with Boulogne in France’s National 1 division.

The midfielder featured in 32 matches across all competitions, scoring five goals and providing four assists while accumulating 2,194 minutes of playing time.

His performances established him as one of Boulogne’s standout players and convinced Maghreb Fez to bring him back to Morocco.

Reinforcements expected before new season

Before his spell with Boulogne, El Farissi also represented Saint-Quentin, Chantilly and Hyères 83 during his career in France.

Maghreb Fez view the midfielder as a key addition capable of strengthening the squad ahead of another demanding campaign.

The club is expected to remain active in the transfer market, with further signings anticipated as it looks to build a squad capable of retaining the Botola title and making a strong impact in the CAF Champions League next season.
