Maghreb de Fès suffer Adel Rahili injury blow ahead of new season

Moroccan side Maghreb de Fès have suffered an early setback ahead of the new season after midfielder Adel Rahili underwent surgery on a knee injury.

The club confirmed that the player successfully underwent an operation on his right knee after medical examinations revealed a tear in his inner meniscus.

Rahili is expected to be sidelined for around four weeks, depending on his recovery and response to rehabilitation.

Maghreb de Fès announced that Rahili’s surgery had been successful following medical tests and MRI scans.

The club said the player will now begin a specialised treatment and rehabilitation programme in the coming weeks.

His return to action will depend on the progress of his recovery, with his absence currently estimated at approximately four weeks.
