Maghnes Akliouche: PSG weigh move for Monaco and France winger in big-money Ligue 1 deal

France winger Maghnes Akliouche is being linked with a high-profile move from Monaco to Paris Saint-Germain as the Ligue 1 champions explore attacking reinforcements. The 24-year-old, who can operate off the right and prefers his left foot, is currently valued at around €50 million and is under contract in the Principality until 30 June 2028, meaning Monaco are under no pressure to sell.

Akliouche has established himself as a key part of Monaco’s frontline, wearing the No 11 shirt and making more than a century of Ligue 1 appearances for the club. He has contributed 18 goals and 21 assists in the French top flight, underlining his ability to influence games in the final third over a sustained period. His form has carried onto the European stage, where he has featured regularly in the Champions League.

Born in Tremblay-en-France and eligible for both France and Algeria, Akliouche has continued his rise this year with involvement at the 2026 World Cup, adding another step to a career that has been built entirely within Monaco’s system. He first joined the club’s academy from US Torcy in 2017 before progressing through the youth sides and making the jump to the first team in 2022.

Any deal would require PSG to negotiate with a direct domestic rival and meet a significant valuation, with Akliouche tied to Monaco for another two seasons beyond this one. For now, he remains contracted to the club he joined as a teenager and continues to represent one of their most valuable attacking assets.
