Maghnes Akliouche has brushed off growing transfer speculation by reaffirming his commitment to AS Monaco, even as Paris Saint-Germain line up a summer swoop.
The 22-year-old midfielder has become a standout performer this season, with 7 goals and 12 assists in 42 appearances. His sharp movement and ability to create chances have not only driven Monaco’s push for a top-three Ligue 1 finish but also caught the attention of Europe’s elite.
While Manchester United and Manchester City are both said to be monitoring his situation, PSG remain the most persistent suitors. Akliouche, however, isn’t letting the noise affect his focus.
“I’m under contract until 2028. I just want to give my best every day and in matches. We’ll see what happens with the club, but I feel good here. PSG is always flattering, it’s one of, if not the best club in France. Still, I’m focused on Monaco’s important upcoming matches,” he told RMC.
Whether Monaco can hold onto him this summer remains to be seen, but for now, Akliouche’s loyalty lies in the Principality.
