Madueke intensifies PSG-Arsenal rivalry ahead of Budapest showdown

Noni Madueke has added more fuel to the PSG-Arsenal buildup ahead of the Champions League final in Budapest.

The England international said Arsenal believe they are the best team at both ends of the pitch, and he pointed to their strong bond as a major reason for their success.

“We are also one of the best offensive teams in the Champions League, aren’t we? Haven’t we scored the most goals? So… we are the best offensive team and the best defensive team,” Madueke said. He also stressed that the squad, staff, and players are tightly connected, which gives Arsenal extra strength going into the final.

William Saliba shared a similar confidence. The French defender said Arsenal’s season is already a success after clinching the Premier League title, and now the squad’s focus has fully shifted to the clash with PSG. He noted that Arsenal already had the best defense last season too, and believes they can keep a clean sheet against the French champions.

PSG, however, arrive with the most dangerous attack in the competition, which sets up a classic battle of strength versus strength. Arsenal’s confidence is clear, but Paris will feel they have the firepower to test that belief. The final now carries both tactical tension and a psychological edge.
