Ernest Nuamah’s potential move to Everton in the winter transfer window did not materialize, but the Ghanaian winger has found a sense of fulfillment at Olympique Lyonnais.
Despite speculation over his future, he opted to remain with the French club, a decision that appears to be paying off.
The 21-year-old has featured in 24 matches this season, netting two goals while continuing to showcase his talent.
His recent performances reflect growing confidence and an increasing influence within the squad.
Speaking ahead of Lyon’s upcoming fixture against Montpellier, Nuamah expressed his satisfaction with his role at the club.
“I feel good with my teammates who give me confidence. Normally, I prefer to play on the right, but I can play on the left like recently.
It’s not new for me. But I can still bring more. I want to develop my abilities,” he stated.
Having overcome the uncertainties of the transfer window, Nuamah now looks focused on cementing his place in the team and contributing to Lyon’s ambitions for the remainder of the season.
